A lot of sites are holding charitable tournies right now, I guess in honor of Memorial Day. I suggest we Monkeys hold our own to 1 of the greatest men that aver lived.
Bruce Lee was named TIME Magazine's TOP 100 Most Important People of the 20th Century as one of the greatest heroes & icons, as an example of personal improvement through, in part physical fitness, and among the most influential martial artists of the twentieth century. His contributions to mankind, which included his Philosophies, his beliefs that ALL mankind should be treated equally, his Martial Arts techniques & skills & mostly his contributions towards children, Cerebral Palsy, hurricane disaster relief & other tragedies, made him truly a Worldwide hero.
Out of his teachings of WU-SHU GUNG FU, he created his own style, which is still practiced & taught worldwide in over 50 countries, called: JUN FAN JEET KUNE DO. JUN FAN 振藩 was his Cantonese birth name, but being born in San Francisco, CA, a nurse suggested he be called Bruce Lee because of his American heritage. TRULY a GREAT man, he was born November 27, 1940 & “mysteriously” died on July 20, 1973 at the very young age of 32. Still believed by many that he was (& always will be) the GREATEST Martial Artist of all time, this is for HIM.
There is much I could tell you about him, but would like your participation in a Multi-Table NL Texas Holdem tournament in honor of his life & death. This is very personal to me & I would appreciate your participation.

The event will be held on Sat. July 21st . Even if you are not into Martial Arts, please accept this invitation for a great man who did so much for the world. The buy-in will be a $10 + $1 (fee). $5 will go into the pot for the winners & the other $5 will be donated to the BRUCE LEE FOUNDATION, which is continuing his work. The BLF is run by his wife, Linda, as Chairman & his daughter, Shannon, who is President. They are a non-profit organization in California with a full board & many celebrities & stars who do their part.
In addition to the winnings, I will put a bounty on my head ($50) & whoever takes me out will receive a Bruce Lee t-shirt & the bounty. Should I happen to win, the bounty will go to the runner-up. ALL ARE WELCOME! Sign-up will be at:
